Lesson 13 Kept by God's Power

February 23, 2020

God establishes, guards, and keeps His children.

Introducing the Study

Paul wanted to be sure the Thessalonian church was prepared for the challenges of Christian living, especially as they faced persecution.  therefore, he encouraged them with a reminder of how precious their salvation was to them. He also prayed for their faithfulness while likewise requesting prayer her himself. Finally, he instructed them to be diligent in doing good.

As you consider what you have learned about the Thessalonian church and how faithful they remained to Christ, be challenged by their example. Take seriously the instruction and encouragement of Paul, as his words still ring true for Christian living toady.
